Philippe is Director, Open Source at Arm. He has been with Arm for over 20 years developing ARM open source ecosystem in support of Arm technology. In collaboration with partners, he contributed to the formation of Linaro and more recently has been on the board of Xen Advisory group, DPDK, Confidential Computing Foundation and involved with the Cloud Native Foundation. He started his career working on operating systems and micro-kernel designs; with systems such as Chorus and the Mach micro-kernel. He gained his PhD from Lancaster University (UK) and published in academic conferences and journals.
